krispy kreme original glaze chocolate

Krispy Kreme is giving their original doughnuts an awesome chocolate-y twist! For a very limited time, Krispy Kreme's original glazed doughnuts will be smothered with rich chocolate glaze. Hats off to Krispy Kreme Philippines for bringing a fan favorite in the U.S last year. It was first introduced in the U.S. in time for the solar eclipse last August and everyone went "cray-cray".

These chocolate doughnuts will be available in all Krispy Kreme stores nationwide starting January 6. There is no exact date when they will end this promo but based on their Facebook page, it will still be available until the end of the month.

I found a new barber shop in town that is truly homegrown Bisaya and gives you that ultimate grooming experience. CHOI Barbers is an upscale barbershop that upholds the true identity of a fearless and confident man. It was founded on the vision of a CHOI man. "Choi" is a Visayan slang word for a confident man, fearless yet charming. So they are committed to giving finest materials, seasoned barbers, and upscale service for that total grooming experience.

I've been to different salons and barber shops but CHOI Barbers gave me an all-in experience and I've been 100% satisfied. From how they accommodate you from start to finish, how good their barbers are, and the sleek overall look of the shop, you can really say that this is the perfect place for a CHOI man.

A regular haircut starts from P240. This is their CHOI Cut Bundle and I think this is the best package I got from any barbershops in town. You will get a haircut, shampoo, a hot towel, and a rejuvenating hand, back, and head massage. This is not a promo because you will get it every time you'll have a haircut from CHOI Barbers.

I never had a relaxing haircut in my entire life until I visited CHOI Barbers. I even fell asleep while having a massage! The best part of my experience was the relaxing head massage. The menthol feeling on my scalp relaxed me. I'd give two thumbs up for that!

They also offer beard trimming or shaving, foot spa, manicure or pedicure, and threading.

I would definitely recommend CHOI Barbers to you. I've been recommending this to my family, friends, and workmates. You will get a hundred percent premium service all in.

They are located at JJ's Commune, Loyola St., Bo. Obrero, Davao City. Just beside STREETS Lifestyle Bar.

There's a new museum in Davao City that lets you see a world at a different angle. This newest attraction, The Upside Down House Museum just opened its "inverted" doors to the public last December 21, 2017.

The inspiration of this business venture was from the museum of the same name in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. One of the owners, Ms. Cecille Cayetano-Inventor mentioned that her family is interested to put up a business that is unique and a first in Mindanao.

This kind of attraction was popular in Manila and Cebu last year and we're glad to have one now in our hometown. Ms. Cecille said that they will change the theme and designs every 18-24 months so customers will have something to watch out for.

I've been to art museums in Boracay and Cebu before but this one is different because everything is placed at an unusual angle. You'll see couches, tables, toys, and even toilets on the ceiling or walls. The place is not that huge but they have 12 designs inspired by a usual house. It's like going inside a house but everything is upside down.

It's fun to explore how you will take a picture as if you are floating in the air or walking on ceilings or walls. We had a great time playing and taking photos inside the museum.

Adult - P250
Kids - P150 (3ft and a half)
Senior Citizen - P200

You may bring a pair of socks because shoes are not allowed inside. You can also buy socks for P100*. They have free lockers for safe keeping. Food is also not allowed inside.

If you are looking for a new attraction in Davao, don't miss the Upside Down House Museum. You're family or friends will definitely have a great time.

Let's all welcome the new year with continuous festivities at Starbucks! The coffee brand hypes up the celebration for its 20th anniversary, with decadent servings of flavor and a variety of exciting on the menu.

Starting January 9, Starbucks mixes in one of Japan’s most popular culinary ingredients, the Okinawa Brown Sugar, to create Okinawa Brown Sugar LattĂ©. The elegant drink highlights the hint of molasses found in the sugar and fuses in light caramel for a less sweet, coffee forward drink.

A returning favorite, the Salted Caramel Mocha Crumble, combines deep chocolate and espresso flavors with toffee nut syrup, layered with a delicious combination of whipped cream and caramel sauce. The beverage is topped with a blend of turbinado sugar and sea salt for a perfect sweet and savory taste.

“We love to constantly surprise our customers with new flavor combinations. This season’s beverages complement our signature Starbucks Espresso and whisks in premium ingredients, like Okinawa brown sugar from Japan, for a modern twist,” said Keith Cole, head of marketing for Starbucks Philippines.

Starbucks treats for the New Year

This adorable barista bear collectible has two new looks for the upcoming season! The 20th Anniversary Bearista Bear wears the classic black apron with the 20th-anniversary logo of Starbucks Philippines. The Bearista Bear also dons a Philippine Flag inspired Frappuccino® pin. On the other hand, the Bearista Bear Dog is all about the onset of the Lunar New Year.

Collectors will enjoy the pup illustrations on the Lunar New Year merchandise as it highlights this year’s Chinese zodiac which is the Earth Dog.

I'm so excited to grab one of these specially-designed tumblers and mugs with cute pup designs.
