Last March 28, 2019, LG Philippines visited the brave families of The House of Hope Foundation, a charitable group located inside the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) that provides temporary shelter to children with cancer.
Since a large majority of its patients are indigent families with no place to stay while they are undergoing treatment, the House of Hope Foundation provides a sanctuary for them.
LG brought with them donations-in-kind to improve the quality of life of the residents. LG Electronics Philippines Managing Director Inkwun Heo led the ceremony along with his team.
They donated these items in the hopes of helping the children's recovery.

LG also partnered with EMCOR to conduct special medical missions in Koronadal, Digos, and Butuan. Dubbed as #LGFamilyFunDay, they gave out free physical and optical check-ups to the community. The kids in the community also enjoyed the LG inflatable castle, coloring sessions, and a dedicated Netflix viewing area.
