Kadayawan is all about celebrating nature's blessings, cultural richness, bountiful harvests, and peace of life, featuring the diverse 11 tribes of Davao. foodpanda didn't just sit on the sidelines; they brought the fun to their loyal app users and newcomers alike. They rolled out surprises and exciting activities as part of their Kada-kada Like A Panda initiative to amp up the festive vibes.

But that's not all! foodpanda took center stage in some of the festival's competitions, acting as a special judge in events like Hiyas ng Kadayawan, Indak Indak sa Kadayawan, and Hudyaka sa Kadayawan. They even handed out special prizes to individuals and groups who wowed the crowd with their outstanding performances, cementing their bond with the community and the festival's traditions.

Patricia Jacinto, foodpanda Philippines Growth & Marketing Director, expressed her enthusiasm to the company’s involvement in the week-long celebration. “foodpanda was thrilled to have immersed ourselves in the vibrant Kadayawan festivities. By actively participating in various Kadayawan events, we hope we were able to bring added joy and a slew of prizes to both the Dabawenyos and loyal app users.”

foodpanda also teamed up with the local favorite, Mamastill Atbp., for the heartwarming "Paying It Forward Free Pastil" project at the bustling Roxas Night Market. They shared the beloved local delicacy, pastil, to the hardworking vendors, dedicated police officers, special task force members, and tireless street sweepers. Now, that's spreading the joy of Kadayawan in style!

I was invited by the Hair Philosophie team to take part of their event, A Press Delight. It's an event dedicated to press people and bloggers to enjoy a day of relaxation and pampering at their salon. I was really excited to receive such invitation because I don't usually get invitations like this. I even thought of dyeing my hair to silver gray or light brown and try if it looks good on me. Then I realized if they cut and style my hair, we won't see any difference since my hair is too short at that time. So I thought of bringing my mom to avail the services instead of me. I'm glad Ms. Wendy and Ms. Rain Dimalanta agreed to my request. Thank you so much! :)

Here are the hair products the stylist used for my mom's hair.

According to the stylist Mr. Rich Chua, my mom just had a hair rebond so they will just have to color the roots. The white hairs on the roots are already visible. They also treated her hair to create volume. I was really expecting to see a different look and hair color from mom but the stylist explained to us why we can't color the hair full. The staff was really accommodating and explains the whole procedure very well.

The stylists were trained in Manila for months according to Sir Jing Monis when we had the chance to chat with him inside the VIP room. He was really accommodating too and shared a lot of tips on how to take care of our hair.

The products they used to the other press people and bloggers are from Schwarzkopf Professional, Macadamia Natural Oil and Wella Professionals. These products are only available in the salon.

I don't have a before and after photo of my mom but here's the result after the hair cut, hair color, and hair treatment. SUPER FAB! (Hindi lang nakapag-bihis ng maayos, kainis! hahaha!)

My mom was really happy with the result she boasted it all day long. Thank you Sir Jing Monis, to all the staff, and stylists of Hair Philosophie Salon in Abreeza Ayala Mall. Thanks for the gifts too! :)

The Off Price Show is the biggest Roving sale event in the country. They started last September 2 at the Davao Convention Center along F. Torres St. They brought the different brand of products for a very discounted price. They have clothes for men and women from premium brands like Adidas, Puma, GAP, Terranova, Jockey, Bershka, and Pull and Bear. They also have footwear like Melissa, CLN, Accel, and Palladium. We were so lucky to be invited to shop at an earlier time. Along with my Davao Blogger friends, we were so thrilled to check out items with discounts of up to 80%.

Since I don't shop a lot because I spend too much sometimes, I challenged myself to control this time and just spend P1,000. In my mind, it's going to be easy since P1,000 is a big amount already. But I saw a lot of good stuff inside I cringed while checking the prices of the items.

After roaming around and fitting a lot of clothes, I decided to buy these tops from Ben Sherman, Hurley, and GAP. And yes, I only spent P1,000 for these! I am so happy!

Gray Hurley Top P350 - For me, this is best worn if you are going out for a sporty or an active event.
Ben Sherman Tshirt P300 - A plain blue shirt is all I need for a stroll at the mall or a walk in the park. I can see myself wearing this when I go out with friends and family. The fabric is cool and soft. I'm thinking of wearing this under a nice jacket or hoodie.
GAP Stripes Button Down Shirt P350 - I'll be wearing this at work especially on Wednesdays where we wear semi formal attire.
I am amazed with all of things I shopped at The Off Price Show. I can really say it is SULIT to shop here! I'll post photos of me wearing these soon. Please follow me on Instagram and let me know your thoughts if I bought the good stuff! :)
