FUJIFILM Instax camera is a party must-have! It has become extremely popular among the youngsters, photo enthusiasts, and travelers who loves instant prints they can keep inside their wallets. Got curious about it too so I bought one for myself and I had so much fun using the Instax Mini 8 ever since. Now Fujifilm launches their latest model of instant camera: the Instax Mini 70. It delivers improved image quality, a new Selfie mode, and other exciting features that make it again, a party must-have!

The Instax Mini 70 has Auto Exposure Control Function that automatically detects the surrounding brightness then adjust the shutter speed and flash accordingly so no more dark background in your Instax photos.

A new Selfie mode is equipped in this new Instax cam. It automatically adjusts the brightness and shooting distance to the level optimized for selfie shots. There's also a mirror lens in front of the camera so you can check your best angle. A self-timer function is also featured in this camera for group shots.

One of its cool features is the Macro mode for close-up shots at a minimum of 30cm from the subject and a Landscape mode for landscape shots.

What I love about most about the Mini 70 is its modern stylish design and it comes in 3 colors: Canary Yellow, Island Blue, and Moon White.

By the way, Bea Alonzo is the newest endorser of the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 and the X-A2. She has been seen using Fujifilm cameras during her recent trips to Japan.

I would love to own one for my next trips here and abroad. If you are interested to buy an Instax camera, check out their promos and gift packages below.

Baguio is one of the few places I really love to travel. It’s cold and the people are so friendly. Plus I love to wear jackets and baggy tops with hoodies. Yay for hoodies! This is a major throwback post. Went back for the second time last year and here’s what I wore on the second day of our trip.

Me and my friend Benj have been eating different kinds of barbeque for a couple of days now. I really don’t know why but he really loves eating grilled stuff nowadays. Then I was craving for a Japanese delicacy lately. Anyare sa mga appetite namin ngayon?! LOL!
There’s this new restaurant in Quirino Avenue and I’ve been wanting to try and eat there. When Benj and I met last night, we decided to try Tori Grill. It’s a new grill restaurant that serves barbeque in Japanese style!

It was all in my news feed for quite some time and I got really curious about it. I installed GrabTaxi a few months back when it was not a news maker yet. I was hesitant to use it and I thought it’s kinda hassle. (Ininstall ang app, di naman gagamitin. Parang tanga lang. LOL!)

When I saw it on Facebook and it all got hyped up all of a sudden, I thought maybe I should try it too. They had a promo that when you book a taxi using the app, you’ll pay the metered fare less P100. So everybody went gaga over it! Pero ako? Nahhh… next time. Hahaha! So the promo ended I-don’t-know-when. Then here comes the P50 Less your metered fare promo. So I decided, OK fine. Let’s try it. Honestly speaking, once you tried it, you can’t stop! Hahaha!

GrabTaxi is the first e-hailing company in the Philippines. It started in Malaysia as MyTeksi. This is very useful to all passengers especially now that we experience heavy rains and traffic. This is also very efficient to all taxi drivers and operators. No need to look around for passengers.

How to use GrabTaxi

1. Download the app and register. It will ask for your name and mobile number. Pick a starting point and your destination then tap next.

2. Type in some notes if you want to help the driver recognize you. Then type the promo code if there’s any. Then tap Confirm Booking.

3. GrabTaxi will now contact the drivers nearby. They each have a smartphone and will ping them each time there are bookings nearby.

4. If they don’t have passengers, they will accept your booking and will go straight to your location.

5. The good thing about this is you will know the name of your taxi driver, his taxi number, and how minutes will he arrive at your location. You can also contact the driver thru text or call in case he missed you.

6. Once he arrived, he will ask your name to confirm your booking. Then off you go!

7. Once you arrived at your location, you can tap End Trip and tap I have arrived.

8. They will also ask for a rating of your ride. I always tap 6 stars! :)

I’ve been using GrabTaxi for a week now and it’s been very helpful for me.

TIPS:

1. It will take time to look for a driver when booking. One time, it took me almost 10 minutes to finally get a driver. Maybe because there are a lot of bookings around the area or it’s just a busy day. So if you are really in a hurry, this will not be helpful. So try to book ahead of time.

2. Put the right location. I cancelled a booking because I gave the wrong address.

3. The drivers are very courteous. Try to smile and greet them too! :)

The P50 Less Promo is up until December 21. Use the promo code “PASKO” when booking. If the promo ends, they will charge P70 on top of your fare. So you have the whole week to book your rides!

But since I feel so generous today, I want you to download the app now and use this REFERRAL CODE and enjoy FREE BOOKING FEE off your FIRST THREE RIDES! I hope it helps!

Christmas is finally here! SM Lanang Premier launched their Christmas event last November 8, 2014. Mall goers will really feel the Christmas spirit because of the grand lighting of the Xmas Tree @ the Atrium and the unveiling of the LEGO Christmas Village. I was really happy to be invited in this wonderful occasion.

I was so excited since it was my first cover for an event as a blogger. Thanks to Davao Bloggers Society for the opportunity. It was great!

Kiana Valenciano was the celebrity host of the show. I was surprised when she sang 3 different Christmas songs that lifted everyone’s hearts that afternoon. She revealed that it was her first hosting stint and she was really nervous.

Davao Girls’ Choir and Songspell Kids Choir also sang timeless Christmas songs to make the afternoon more spectacular.

How can you not love these human drummer boys?

The Xmas Tree is 57 feet high wrapped with different ornaments and Xmas lights. This is by far the tallest Xmas tree I’ve seen here in Davao.

They also unveiled the LEGO Christmas Village for kids and kids at heart. It’s a huge display of LEGO toys. Thanks to Toy Kingdom, LAJ Marketing Philippines and other sponsors.

(More photos of the LEGO XMAS VILLAGE in my other post here.)

Santa really came to town! As he gave gifts to the kids from San Antonio, Agdao and other beneficiaries with the help of City Social Services and Development Office.

Visit SM Lanang Premier with your kids every weekend of December for a meet and greet with the LEGO Santa. I’m sure your kids will be very happy to see him. Take pics to make it more memorable!

The long wait is finally over. Ms. Kat Dalisay and the Manic Nightnings Productions finally made Davao roar once again in Carte Blanche 2014! With the #BoryatNation minus Yumi Dujali, we went to the most awaited electronic music festival in the city. Same place of course, @ Davao Crocodile Park Grounds last November 15.

Tickets were sold like hotcakes! They have GenAd @ P150 (Carnival Area only), VIP @ P400, SVIP @ P800, and FULL MADNESS @ P2,000! They sold Sunset Tickets w/c is cheaper than the regular ones, but you are only allowed to come in @ 2PM-5PM. We just bought the Regular SVIP.

We reached Crocodile Park at 8PM. Then the worst just happened. We saw a very long line @ the main entrance. Like, what the heck?!

There was no specific entrance for SVIP, VIP, etc. So we waited… and waited…. and then when we were almost at the entrance, they posted a sign to divide the entrance to Full Madness - SVIP and VIP - GA. Then it became a total chaos. Even the guards and ushers almost fainted!

After an hour of waiting and pushing @ the gate, we finally found our way in. Well, kudos to the staff for being calm and composed. Kahit muntik nang magka-stampede sa main entrance.

A music carnival will not be complete if there are no amusement rides, right?! We tried the Ferris wheel and the Mega Swing! It’s good to be a kid again!

There was a total of 24 International and Local DJ’s in the event! I tell you, it was a massive EDM madness! This was so far the best line up of DJ’s in a Music Festival. Ten Thumbs Up for that!

The best thing about partying is that you are with friends!

I have no nice photos when we went in the raving crowd! Hahaha! Sorry Lance!

There were 12,398 people who went to Carte Blanche! What a big crowd! Hot girls and hot men were EVERYWHERE! Where the hell do these people come from? Hahaha! Like this gal over here, hey Kaka! :)

The party was awesome. It was actually a blast! More people, more food, more drinks, and there’s a real carnival! Though it didn’t rain, for some who wished for it to happen to hype the party, it was still the BIGGEST Music Festival in the region!

I must admit, last year was better but hey! There will be Carte Blanche 2015, right? PLEASE! Sana meron! Hahaha! And I wish there will be a smooth flow @ the entrance next time.

A big thank you to all organizers, sponsors, and advertisers of this awesome event. To Miss Kat Dalisay and the Manic Nightnings Team, PARTY ON!
