Starbucks Espresso Confections

Usher the new year as Starbucks showcase their latest additions to the Starbucks Espresso Confections line: the Strawberry Red Velvet Mocha and Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle. These decadent flavors are now available until February 22, 2016 to be served by your favorite friendly baristas in any Starbucks store near you.

The Strawberry Red Velvet Mocha has a deliciously rich velvet sauce combined with mocha, steamed milk, and lovingly topped with cheesecake whipped cream, and lightly sprinkled with real strawberry bits.

The Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle is their signature espresso and steamed milk combined with a decadent white chocolate chestnut sauce and finished with whipped cream and chestnut drizzle.

Both are also available in Frappuccino blended beverage.

The Lunar New Year celebration is fast approaching and Starbucks will be featuring a collection of roasted coffees such as the Guatemala Casi Cielo. It's a Latin American coffee with elegant flavor complexity, a unique floral aroma, lemon-like acidity and dark cocoa finish. Casi Cielo, which is Spanish for "almost heaven" comes from Antigua valley.

Add these new featured Starbucks cards to your collection! The Lunar New Year Card will be a perfect gift to celebrate a fun, exciting, and cheerful 2016 with your friends. GREEN BANANA HOTEL OPENS IN DAVAO

Green Banana Business Hotel is now open at the heart of one of Davao's busiest business district. This building was built in between Landco Bldg where I am currently working, and Pryce Tower along JP Laurel Avenue in Bajada. It's a very good strategy to put up a business hotel in the middle of the big establishments in the city. As a corporate employee, we bring people from our different branch here in Davao and we really find it hard to look for a good hotel for our guests.

Green Banana Business Hotel is business-friendly and very affordable. Room rates starts at P1,200. The room has hot and cold shower, cabled TV, WiFi connection, a mini bar, and high end beds.

For us, it is very accessible because it is just located in front of our building. It's near from malls, churches, banks, and restaurants. 7-Eleven is also located below the hotel and they have their own cafe, Jiggo's if you want to eat good Filipino dishes. Transportation is not a problem because the main road is just a minute away from the hotel.

I would really recommend this to our office managers if they will stay here in Davao for a couple of days. The comfort we need after work is just a few steps away from our office. It saves time, effort, and money too! I might spend a staycation here soon! :)

Hair Philosophie by Jing Monis is now open at the 2nd Floor of Abreeza Corporate Center at J.P. Laurel Avenue, Bajada, Davao City. They are offering the latest and professional hair care at affordable prices.

The Davao Bloggers Society was invited to the grand opening last November 18, 2015. I was very pleased to be invited and eventually met Mr. Jing Monis himself. He approached us and had a short talk. He was really friendly and approachable. The media columnists, loyal customers, and celebrities like Kaye Abad, Paul Jake Castillo, Fifth Solomon, Nichole Baranda, and the PBB Big Winner Daniel Matsunaga were also invited to the grand opening. Phoemela Baranda, one of Mr. Monis' ambassadors, hosted the event.

I also had the chance to take selfies with the celebrities. (Fanboy Mode On LOLS!)

The best part was we had the chance to ask questions to the celebrity guests. I already had one in mind FOR KAYE ABAD! I'm sorry, she's just so gorgeous that night. I can still feel how mesmerized I was with her beauty and elegance. Anyway, I just asked her how was the experience as a loyal client of Jing Monis? She said he was her hairstylist ever since and she really love how he cuts her hair. Your hair gets even better after every cut, she said.

Jing Monis mentioned that he trained their Davao hair stylists for months so you will be assured that your hair will be well taken cared of. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf 2015 Holiday Launch

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf hopes to give flavorfully this season in ways that warm our soul as much as the body. I'm lucky enough to be invited to their Holiday Launch and a fun watercolor session last November 7, 2015 at their shop in SM Lanang Premier.

This year, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is offering several ways to share the holiday spirit with this season's favorites. They will serve two special holiday flavors in two variations - iced drink and warm latte. The Winter Dream Tea is a drink that has come to be anticipated by coffee lovers. It has rooibos and black tea blended with sweet spices and hints of vanilla. The newest addition is the Toffee Nut which has a buttery caramelized sugar with a hint of nut, paired with the richness of espresso and a sprinkle of toffee bits.

It's time for another barkada food trip as Greenwich launches its new pizza flavor, the Cheesy Steak and Fries Overload. Greenwich invited us for the launching of their #NewestBarkadaCraze at Abreeza Ayala Mall and had a bite or two of their newest offerings.

This new flavor will definitely be a sure hit for the whole barkada and you would want to try it over and over again. It satisfies your pizza cravings for that melt-in-your-mouth steak and oozing three types of cheeses made up of mozzarella, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese topped with crunchy potato strings.

Took some photos with the gang because we won the best barkada selife of the night. And once again, I won Best Instagram Photo and got gift certificates from Greenwich. Yay!
