I've heard a lot of clinics that are starting to offer Glutathione services in the city, mainly through friends raving about this technique in administering Glutathione via IV drip. They say the effects are much faster than taking a pill or using soap with Glutathione. I was a bit scared to try but was really curious about it. FYI, I've never had this procedure done in my life, thank God!

So a friend of mine tapped me to try the services of Gluhen Gluta Center, a skin clinic located at Villa Conchita, Rivera Village here in Davao. Again I was a bit hesitant at first but finally found the courage to test it out. The benefits appealed to me, especially the detoxification (I eat a LOT), so it was definitely worth a shot.

When I got there, I met Riz and Erik Caballero, the owners of the clinic. They were really accommodating and even introduced me to their staff. They have 3 full-time nurses who administer the IV Drip and a physician for consultations. I was amazed after they showed me all their packages and the materials they use for my IV drip. Riz showed me the ampule and the vial and explained the step by step procedure. They also presented a waiver and explained the benefits and possible complications. After that, I felt much more at ease and comfortable. I was thinking, hey, this may not be so bad after all.

The nurse then started the procedure and was able to hit my vein in just one prick. The feeling was a bit weird at first but, I got used to it. It took 30 minutes to finish the contents of the bag. She asked me to contact them immediately if I had any adverse reactions.

Here's the package they offered me:

Here are their other packages:

This is me during my first visit at the clinic.

This is me a day after my first session. FYI - These photos are not edited and filtered.

After my 2nd Session

After my 3rd Session

After my 4th and last session

Based on my experience, I can really see the difference on my face and skin. My skin became fair and I had no breakouts. I also felt very cleansed because I was able to lose my bowel once or twice a day. According to Ritz, you can have a session every 2 days. You can have more than 4 sessions depending on your preference.

I am really happy with the results and to be honest, I highly recommend this than taking a Gluta pill. If you want faster results, try the Glutathione IV Drip. It may be uncomfortable sometimes, but you can really see and feel the effects immediately. Just a reminder, that Glutathione is an antioxidant and not a skin whitening product. Having a fair skin is just one of its effects, :)

I highly recommend that you visit Gluhen Glutathione Center if you've decided to try it. From licensed and experienced staff, owners, and best products, you'll be secured to get the best service here in Davao City.

They now have 2 clinics in the metro!

JC Santos, an actor who played alongside James Reid and Nadine Lustre in the recently concluded teleserye, joined the staff of McDonald's Bajada in giving away free breakfast to the customers. In Luzon, Marian and Dingdong Dantes graced the event while Tommy Esguerra was in Cebu.

Every year, McDonald’s extends the experience of National Breakfast Day to groups of early risers – those who are unable to enjoy a good breakfast because they are up earlier than everyone else to work or serve. This year, McDonald’s makes it extra special and pays tribute to those who have helped others welcome new beginnings.

Davao Bloggers at McDonald's National Breakfast Day

To celebrate the beauty of mornings and how they bring forth new beginnings, McDonald’s released an online video, telling the story of Mrs. Luzviminda Santiago, a public school teacher who dedicated her life to imparting lessons and providing support to students. The video highlights the importance mentors have in enabling and inspiring the community, and hopes to encourage viewers to pay tribute to those who have helped usher in a new beginning for them. Watch the video below. :)

I would like to thank Ms. Joanne from EON Public Relations for inviting us! :)

Last February 11-12, 2017, a record-breaking number of 1,479 young athletes from Mindanao showed up at this year's first Regional Selection Camp of Jr. NBA Philippines 2017. This event was presented by Alaska at Xavier University at Cagayan De Oro City.
After experiencing the various progressive basketball drills and scrimmages, Jezreel Aton, 13, of Bethel Baptist Christian Academy; Khen Caduyac, 13, and Stephen Jebson Garcia, 13, of Corpus Cristi; John Anthony Melgazo, 14, and Jerald Orestes, 13,  of Bukidnon National Highschool; Geo Ramos, 13, of Xavier University and Maverick John Vieto, 13, of San Isidro College ruled the boys division while Louise Veronica Agad, 12, Ella Rae Amulato, 12, and Pauline Angelique Valle, 12, of Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive Highschool (MOGCHS); September Star Padla, 13, of Bukidnon State University; and Giordana Tagarda, 10, of City Central School are the girls who will represent Mindanao to the Jr. NBA Philippines National Training Camp in Manila this May 12-14.
These 12 young ballers excelled in the skills stations and exhibition games, exemplifying the Jr. NBA core S.T.A.R. values of Sportsmanship, Teamwork, a positive Attitude and Respect throughout the camp.  The Jr. NBA committee headed by Jr. NBA Coach Craig Brown evaluated the regional finalists.
“These kids in Cagayan De Oro listen extremely well and play hard,” said Jr. NBA Coach Craig Brown.  “If they continue to work on the fundamentals that we worked on here over the last two days and really stay committed to the S.T.A.R values which they exuded here this weekend, I think the sky is the limit for these young people.”

Some of the young athletes who participated in the two-day camp traveled all the way from Bukidnon, Butuan, Misamis Occidental and Zamboanga for the opportunity to be selected and advance to the next stages of the league’s global youth basketball participation program.
“These children reinforce Alaska’s commitment to promoting sports and outdoor play in the Philippines. It is our mission to nurture young talents and to promote healthy and active lifestyle through sports and outdoor play,” says Wilfred Uytengsu, Alaska Milk Corporation President, and CEO.
Based on the 8th National Nutrition Survey in 2013 by the Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI), obesity is one of the most prevalent nutritional problems of Filipino children with about 5 out of 100 Filipino children are overweight.
Given the growing issues on health, Alaska believes that there is a need to reinforce its thrust in leading a healthy lifestyle not just by drinking milk but by living actively through sports and other outdoor activities. Alaska seeks to engage the Filipino consumers, especially the youth, through its sports development programs to help nourish children to become champions.
Jr. NBA Philippines 2017 presented by Alaska Regional Selection Camp’s next stop will be Lucena (Feb. 25-26) followed by Cebu (March 11-12) and Manila (April 1-2).  Boys and girls ages 10-14 can still register for the free youth basketball program at www.jrnba.asia/philippines, where the program terms and conditions can be found.
Fans can also follow Jr. NBA on Facebook at www.facebook.com/jrnbaphilippines.  For all things NBA, fans can visit www.nba.com, like the NBA on Facebook at www.facebook.com/philsnba and follow www.twitter.com/nba_philippines on Twitter.
