Exciting news for everyone! Last Friday, May 17th, realme opened its brand new concept store at SM City Caloocan. This new branch is the first to feature realme's freshest and most innovative store design, and let me tell you, it's truly something special.

As you may know, realme has been on a rebranding journey this year, unveiling their new tagline "Make it real." And this new store design is a true embodiment of that mission. The space has a sleek, bold, and modern aesthetic, with clean lines and high-tech features that create a truly immersive experience for customers.

Patricia Gonzales, realme Philippines' Communications Lead, shared that this redesign is all about captivating the eye and showcasing the brand's evolution and forward-thinking approach.

The grand opening was a huge success, drawing in a large and enthusiastic crowd. Sun Life "The Next Big Gig" Caravan Kicks Off in Davao

I had the opportunity to attend the Sun Life Philippines Live Brighter Forum last April 27 at the SMX Convention Center. This is a series of recruitment events for aspiring Sun Life Financial Advisors. Being invited to cover and witness this event was an exciting one, as it allowed me to gain insights into the world of financial services and the role of a Sun Life Financial Advisor. The Live Brighter Forum kicked off in Davao City and has since traveled to Iloilo City, Pasay City, and will be heading to Pampanga next.

There were interactive booths like the "Next Big Quiz," "Next Big Destination," and "Next Big Project" situated around the convention center. These booths showcased the travel incentives and highlighted the advisors' corporate social responsibility initiatives.

One of the most compelling aspects of the event was the opportunity to hear the real-life stories of current Sun Life Financial Advisors. Their passion and dedication to helping clients achieve a brighter financial future were truly inspiring. They shared how the role has given them the opportunity to earn an unlimited income, enjoy the freedom of time, and develop a profound sense of purpose.

As a resident of Davao City, I recently had the opportunity to attend Grab's "No Sweat Summer" event at Abreeza Ayala Mall. The event was designed to showcase how Grab's services can help Davaoeños beat the intense summer heat and enjoy the season without the hassle.

As I entered the event, I was immediately captivated by the vibrant and energetic atmosphere. At the entrance, I noticed the presence of refreshing Grab-branded coolers. Each of these coolers seemed to offer a unique activity for attendees to engage with and enjoy.

The event kicked off with Grab sharing insights on the top summer coolers being ordered by Davaoeños on GrabFood. I have to admit, I wasn't surprised to hear that soda floats, iced coffee, halo-halo, mocha floats, and mango shakes were among the most popular choices. As a Davao native, I know all too well the joy of indulging in these delectable treats to cool down.

I found Grab's emphasis on their GrabFood Saver Delivery particularly interesting. Knowing that I can get these summer coolers delivered for as low as ₱15 is a game-changer, making it easy and affordable to enjoy them daily.

PLDT Home Fiber Fastbreak: Connecting Hoops Passion in Mindanao

PLDT Home recently held an event called the Fiber Fastbreak in Davao City. This is the 2nd leg of their tour series, and they brought together basketball fans and their favorite players. The event featured stars like Peter June Simon, who's known as the 'Scoring Apostle', and players from the TNT Tropang Giga team, such as Gryann Mendoza, Poy Erram, and Glenn Khobuntin. Jayson "The Blur" Castro also joined the tour and made the local basketball community very excited.

Mindanao has always been a place with a lot of talented basketball players. Some well-known players from the region include Baser Amer, Alvin Pasaol, and Peter June Simon. PLDT Home's event in Davao was a way to connect with this passionate basketball scene.

During the event, fans got to meet and interact with their favorite players. Peter June Simon, who is now retired, was also there as the Deputy Commissioner for Mindanao in the Pilipinas Super League. The presence of players like Gryann Mendoza, Poy Erram, and Glenn Khobuntin, who are from Mindanao, showed the region's rich basketball history. Their success stories inspire young players and prove that talent can come from anywhere.
