New Food Choices at Roxas Night Market

New Food Choices at Roxas Night Market Jexx Hinggo
It's been a while since I visited Roxas Night Market. I was busy at work and never got the chance to have a meal with friends there. When my friends from Cebu went to Davao for a visit, I brought them there so they can experience the fun night market we have in the city. I was surprised to see new food items from different food stalls, and I realized why not share this to my readers?
Here are some of the new food choices you and your friends should try at Roxas Night Market.

APPETIZERS
Most of the food you'll see are served in skewers or barbecue sticks. Aside from the famous Kwek-Kwek, you'll see Toknenengs, these are quail eggs coated with flavored batter and cornstarch. Lumpia is a staple in Roxas Night Market but some people want a kick of spice so the vendors made Cheese Dynamites. These are stuffed chilli peppers in lumpia wrapper. There are Corndogs and Meatballs with quail eggs too! Aside from Siomai, I saw one vendor who sells Takoyaki.

Before, you'll see a lot of pork or chicken barbecues from most of the vendors. But now, there are more seafood options like hito or catfish, tuna panga, tilapia, bangus, and squid. Some vendors now are actually offering Seafood Nilaga or Sinigang from P130 to P200 per order.
