My Syringoma and Wart Removal Journey at My Skin Origins

This is quite a personal story, but I wanted to share it for those who’ve been asking — and for anyone curious or considering the same treatment.

Last September, I finally found the courage to undergo Syringoma and Wart Removal again at My Skin Origins. This wasn’t my first time; it was actually my third procedure, and my second time trusting the team at My Skin Origins.

The Process

The procedure began with facial prep — identifying the areas with syringoma and warts, followed by the application of an anesthetic cream. We let it sit for about 30 minutes to numb the skin.

When it was time to start, the team began cauterizing the targeted bumps. Now, how does it feel?

Honestly, it depends on the area. You can definitely feel a bit of a sting — imagine a series of small electric zaps or tiny sparks touching your skin. I even joked that it felt like someone was welding my face!

Some areas, like near the eyes or upper cheeks, are more sensitive than others. Surprisingly, the neck area was less painful. They also did the procedure in batches, giving me quick breaks in between to make sure I was comfortable.

Post-Procedure Care

Right after the procedure, they advised me to use their Anti-Irritant Cream for about a week. It helps calm down redness and prevent irritation while your skin starts to heal.

The tricky part of recovery is when the wounds begin to itch — that’s when the temptation to scratch is real! I applied the cream around three times a day to manage it.

After a week, I switched to their Scar Perfecting Cream to help lighten and smoothen the healing spots.

The Results

A few weeks later, I went back for a follow-up facial to remove dead skin cells and freshen up my complexion. Once the scabs and marks healed, I immediately noticed the difference — my skin looked brighter, smoother, and had that healthy, pinkish glow again.
