Cebu Pacific Launches New Domestic and International Flights from Davao

Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, has expanded its network with new domestic and international flights from Davao, strengthening the city’s role as a key hub in Mindanao.

Starting October 27, 2024, Cebu Pacific will operate daily flights from Davao to Caticlan and Puerto Princesa, as well as four flights per week to Hong Kong. Additionally, three weekly flights to Bangkok-Don Mueang will commence on October 28, followed by three weekly flights to Tacloban on October 29.

“We’re excited to broaden our connections to and from Davao, bringing enhanced travel options that support the city’s growth as an economic and cultural center,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer. “With these new routes, travelers gain more convenience, and Davao gains increased tourism and business opportunities.”

The direct flights mean that Davao passengers can now reach Hong Kong and Bangkok in just 3.5 hours, saving up to 5 hours in travel time and reducing fares by up to 35% to Hong Kong and up to 99% to Bangkok.

The new domestic routes to Caticlan, Puerto Princesa, and Tacloban open up more possibilities for Davao travelers to experience the unique attractions, cuisines, and cultures across the Philippines. Cebu Pacific also offers flights from Davao to destinations like Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Siargao, allowing passengers to fly out for same-day return trips and maximize their day.

Cebu Pacific now operates 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

As a fan of online games, I recently stumbled upon a treasure trove of fun and educational games at CulinarySchools.org Kids Games. I had a blast exploring different games on this site and can’t wait to share my experiences with you!

WAFFLE: A Word Game Delight

The first game I tried was WAFFLE from the Word Games section. Imagine a word search game with letters arranged in a square, resembling a waffle. The goal is to spell out words you see within the grid. Each word you spell earns you points, making it not only fun but also a great way to test and expand your vocabulary. I found myself getting hooked, trying to find as many words as possible!

Watermelon Game: A Fruity Twist on Tetris

Next up was the Watermelon Game, which is like Tetris but with a fruity twist. Instead of blocks, you have fruits that merge when identical ones touch, growing bigger each time. When 11 fruits merge, they create a watermelon. It was a lot of fun, but I found myself wondering when the game would end since there’s no timer. Despite that, it was an enjoyable experience, and I moved on to explore other games.

Ice Cream Bar: A Fast-Paced Food Game

In the Food Games section, I played Ice Cream Bar. This game puts you in charge of an ice cream stand where customers come in with their orders. You have to create their desired ice cream using the available ingredients, and you have to be quick! The challenge is to make their orders fast, or they’ll leave, and you’ll lose points. It was thrilling and challenging, and I can see myself playing this with my nephews and nieces, especially those aged 10 and up.

The Amazing World of Gumball Water Sons: A Nostalgic Adventure

I also played The Amazing World of Gumball Water Sons. As a fan of the show, which I’ve been watching reruns of for years, I had to try this game immediately. The mechanics are simple: throw water bombs at targets to win points. You can play as Gumball or Darwin, and the animation is really cool. However, I encountered a challenge in the second round where I couldn’t move the water bombs because the game requires a mouse or keyboard. This makes it tricky to play on a tablet or phone, and I wish it were more mobile-friendly.

Idle Farming Business: A Relaxing Farming Experience

The last game I tried was Idle Farming Business. The design reminded me of Plants Vs Zombies, but the focus is purely on farming. You plant vegetables and harvest them, gradually expanding your farm. While it was fun at first, I found myself getting tired of the repetitive swiping and harvesting. I wasn’t sure when the game would end, but it was a relaxing experience overall.

Final Thoughts

This site offers a wide variety of games for kids and anyone who loves online games. The visuals and designs are impressive. As an adult, I’d love to see more games like run-and-gun, multiplayer, or level-based games. It would be amazing to see classic games like Contra, Battleship, Circus, Ice Climber, Popeye, and more.
