The HONOR 600S is one of the latest additions to HONOR's smartphone lineup, bringing AI features, a durable design, and a massive 8,100mAh battery.
I've been using the phone for work, content consumption, and a bit of gaming to see how it performs in day-to-day use.

I always appreciate it when brands include both a charger and a protective case. It means you can start using the phone immediately without having to buy additional accessories.
Design and Build
My review unit came in Misty Purple, and it's easily my favorite among the available color options.
The back panel has a clean matte finish that helps reduce fingerprints while giving the device a more premium look. Despite packing an enormous battery, the phone doesn't feel excessively thick, although you'll definitely notice its weight at around 216.5g.
What impressed me more is the durability. The HONOR 600S offers IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance, along with SGS-certified drop resistance. HONOR even claims up to 2.5-meter drop protection under controlled testing conditions.
For users who are often on the go, that's a reassuring feature to have.
AI Features and the Dedicated AI Mobile Assistant Button
One of the standout features of the HONOR 600S is its dedicated AI Button.
With a single press, you can quickly access tools like:

There's also AI Image to Video 2.0, which allows users to transform still photos into short AI-generated video clips. HONOR clearly wants AI to be an important part of the experience, and unlike some gimmicky implementations, the shortcut button actually makes these tools easier to access and use.
Display and Gaming Experience
The HONOR 600S features a large 6.87-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On paper, some users may immediately focus on the fact that it uses an HD+ TFT LCD panel instead of an AMOLED display.
Honestly, I thought I would notice this more than I actually did.
I regularly played Mobile Legends and Kingshot during my testing, and the experience was surprisingly enjoyable. The smooth 120Hz refresh rate helped keep gameplay and scrolling responsive, while the large display provided plenty of room for gaming, videos, and social media.
After a few days of use, I honestly stopped thinking about whether the screen was LCD or AMOLED and simply enjoyed using the phone.
Of course, AMOLED panels still offer deeper blacks and richer contrast, but for everyday use and gaming, the HONOR 600S delivered a smooth enough experience that I rarely felt I was missing out.
Performance
Powering the HONOR 600S is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor paired with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
The phone handled my daily tasks without any major issues, including:

- General productivity tasks
This isn't a flagship gaming smartphone, but it's more capable than its specifications might initially suggest. Casual and moderate gamers should have no trouble enjoying their favorite titles, especially when paired with the phone's long battery life.

For photography, the HONOR 600S comes with a 50MP main camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
The rear camera performs well enough for daily use, whether you're capturing food photos, travel shots, family moments, or content for social media.
The selfie camera is more basic, but it gets the job done for video calls and occasional selfies.
Overall, the cameras are perfectly adequate for most everyday situations.

If there's one feature that truly impressed me during my time with the HONOR 600S, it's the battery.
The device packs a massive 8,100mAh battery with support for 45W HONOR SuperCharge, making it one of the biggest batteries available in a mainstream smartphone today.
In real-world use, this translated into something simple but important: peace of mind.
Whether I was browsing social media, watching videos, replying to messages, or spending long gaming sessions in Mobile Legends and Kingshot, I rarely found myself worrying about my battery percentage.
As someone who spends a lot of time on a smartphone, that's something I genuinely appreciate. Instead of constantly checking the battery indicator, I could simply focus on what I was doing.
The large battery also makes gaming more enjoyable. I was able to play without thinking about where my charger was or whether I needed to bring a power bank.
