Last week, I shared a bit about our first-ever visit to Ocean Park Hong Kong—and as promised, here’s the fun part: the rides. After lunch, we jumped straight into the thrill zone, and Ocean Park did not disappoint.
Quick disclaimer before we dive in: Ocean Park is huge. Like, we-need-two-days-here kind of huge. We spent the whole day exploring, but still didn’t get to see every zone or try every ride. If you’re planning a visit, consider stretching it out over two days—or wear comfy shoes and be ready to hustle.
Anyway, here’s how we rated the rides we did manage to try:
Flash ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We started strong with Flash. And by strong, I mean borderline terrifying. This ride throws you into steep drops and wild twists that had us screaming like we were being chased. It was the perfect wake-up call after lunch. Would I ride it again? Absolutely. Would I cry again? Probably.
Arctic Blast ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This one had a long line, but it was worth the wait. Arctic Blast is a family-friendly coaster—fun, twisty, and just intense enough to keep things exciting without making you question your life choices. Great for all ages, and a nice breather between the scarier rides.
Hair Raiser ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Okay, this one deserves its own paragraph. Hair Raiser is intense. The drops, the loops, the speed—it’s the kind of ride that makes you laugh and scream at the same time. My brother and I were wobbling down the stairs afterward like newborn giraffes, and I had a migraine for an hour. But was it worth it? Absolutely.
Bumper Blaster ⭐⭐⭐
Classic bumper cars, but with a twist: the space is just tight enough to guarantee chaos. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s a great way to bump into your family without consequences. Not the most thrilling, but definitely good for a laugh.
By the time we finished exploring three zones, it was already past 3 PM—and we still hadn’t seen everything. Ocean Park really packs a lot in, and we left with sore feet, full hearts, and a bunch of stories to tell.
If you’re heading there soon, pace yourself, stay hydrated, and don’t skip the Hair Raiser—unless you value your equilibrium.
