Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading airline, has expanded its network with new domestic and international flights from Davao, strengthening the city’s role as a key hub in Mindanao.
Starting October 27, 2024, Cebu Pacific will operate daily flights from Davao to Caticlan and Puerto Princesa, as well as four flights per week to Hong Kong. Additionally, three weekly flights to Bangkok-Don Mueang will commence on October 28, followed by three weekly flights to Tacloban on October 29.
“We’re excited to broaden our connections to and from Davao, bringing enhanced travel options that support the city’s growth as an economic and cultural center,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer. “With these new routes, travelers gain more convenience, and Davao gains increased tourism and business opportunities.”
The direct flights mean that Davao passengers can now reach Hong Kong and Bangkok in just 3.5 hours, saving up to 5 hours in travel time and reducing fares by up to 35% to Hong Kong and up to 99% to Bangkok.
The new domestic routes to Caticlan, Puerto Princesa, and Tacloban open up more possibilities for Davao travelers to experience the unique attractions, cuisines, and cultures across the Philippines. Cebu Pacific also offers flights from Davao to destinations like Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Siargao, allowing passengers to fly out for same-day return trips and maximize their day.
Cebu Pacific now operates 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

On July 11, 2024, I had the fantastic opportunity to stay at the Brittany Hotel BGC with our friends from Cebu Pacific Air, and I'm excited to share my journey!
A Warm Welcome
Upon arriving from the airport, I was immediately captivated by the hotel’s stunning lobby. The design is a perfect blend of modern elegance and a cozy vibe. To my left, the inviting “For The Road” ressto welcomed us, while the concierge stood ready to assist on my right. The high ceilings and warm, green tones made me feel like I had stepped into a serene morning garden.Nestled in the heart of Bonifacio Global City, the Brittany Hotel takes a fresh and contemporary approach to hospitality. With 125 beautifully appointed rooms and a dedicated team known as “The Britts,” this boutique hotel truly stands out.
After dropping off our bags, we headed to the Wine Lab for a joint briefing and hotel tour. They treated us to delicious snacks and refreshing drinks—I may have indulged in three glasses!
Wellness and Events
For those looking to stay active, the hotel features a stunning penthouse pool and a well-equipped fitness center. Additionally, they offer versatile function rooms ideal for business meetings and social events.Following the tour, I was treated to a quick pampering session at the Botanica Salon & Spa on Level 2. I enjoyed a soothing foot massage that nearly sent me to dreamland. It was exactly what I needed to unwind and recharge, with the tranquil atmosphere and a wide view of the streets of BGC and SM Aura.
Cozy Accommodations
Entering our Deluxe room was a delight. It was spacious, featuring plush bedding and a view of the vibrant Bonifacio Global City. I instantly felt at ease, ready to relax after our travels. They also served sweet treats in our room for a quick nibble while we set up our things. It was the perfect retreat after a busy day.Other rooms:
Culinary Adventures
Dining at Origine, the hotel’s restaurant, was one of the highlights of my stay. The Spanish cuisine was simply exquisite! Each dish burst with flavor, and I found myself savoring every bite. Imagine enjoying two kinds of paella, steak, and steamed fish in one sitting! I can't believe how it all fit in my belly.Of course, desserts were served from Tea for Two, the hotel's Coffee Project version located on the ground floor. These sweets literally oozed with flavor in every bite.
The breakfast buffet was also a sensory delight, offering a wonderful mix of local and international dishes. I loved starting my day with a hearty meal that energized me for the activities ahead.
Reflecting on the Experience
As my stay came to a close, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the entire experience. Brittany Hotel BGC surpassed my expectations in every way, from the outstanding service to the luxurious accommodations. If you’re searching for a place that offers more than just a stay but a true experience, I wholeheartedly recommend Brittany Hotel BGC. Once you arrive in Puerto Princesa, you can take a van or a bus to El Nido. Rates and arrival times are almost the same, but I recommend taking the Cherry Bus. They offer lazy boy seats

It's been a while since I visited Roxas Night Market. I was busy at work and never got the chance to have a meal with friends there. When my friends from Cebu went to Davao for a visit, I brought them there so they can experience the fun night market we have in the city. I was surprised to see new food items from different food stalls, and I realized why not share this to my readers?

The Davao Bloggers Society received an invite for a group staycation at Pearl Farm Beach Resort. Lucky me, I was able to sign up and have been chosen to join the trip. The best part was, my boss approved my vacation leave on a weekday.
Pearl Farm Beach Resort is just 30 minutes away from Davao City Sasa Wharf. I'm lucky to be living in Davao because the beaches here are within my reach. The pristine beach, the exclusivity, and the amenities are worth every penny. Will show you some photos I took during our trip and a fun video on my YouTube channel to give you a full view of the beautiful Pearl Farm Beach Resort.
