Last April 4–9, I finally stepped foot in Taiwan—a trip I had been planning for months. From Ximending street nights and comforting bowls of noodles to rainy afternoons in Jiufen and a childhood dream fulfilled at Meteor Garden filming locations, this 6 days / 5 nights trip turned into a journey filled with nostalgia, curiosity, and quiet moments of joy.

On our third day in Hong Kong, we made our way to Ocean Park—and wow, what a shift from yesterday’s rain-soaked adventure at Disneyland. The skies were clear, the sun was up and shining brightly, and the summer heat was in full swing. It was August, after all, and Hong Kong doesn’t hold back.

On August 18, we arrived in Hong Kong at 11:30 AM, filled with excitement for our family trip. Our first destination was Citygate Outlets in Tung Chung, which was easy to reach via the S1 bus from the airport bus terminus. On October 27, 2024, I embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Hong Kong, flying with Cebu Pacific Air. I was one of the lucky passengers, along with my friends from the Davao Bloggers Society, joining the inaugural flight. It was a memorable and fun experience.
