Starbucks debut a brand new line of iconic and beloved Macchiato beverages - Chocolate Hazelnut Macchiato, Roasted Caramel Macchiato, and Caramel Macchiato Frapuccino. With these new beverage innovations, customers will surely love the rich and complex taste of their macchiato drinks.

CARAMEL MACCHIATO FRAPPUCCINO® BLENDED BEVERAGE - The most popular Caramel Macchiato in a Frappuccino® variant. Enjoy the same delicious taste of smooth milk, caramel drizzle, and a shot of our best quality espresso, but in a fun Frappuccino® form.

Starting February 23, these featured beverages will be available in all Starbucks stores nationwide.

FISH AND POTATO WRAP - A tortilla wrap filled with moist breaded fish fillet, baked potato wedges and egg mayo dressing.

SPECIAL EDITION SIREN CARD - Taking a page off Greek mythology, Starbucks calls her the Siren. The Siren is hand-painted with water colors and represents the change of the season. Starbucks Espresso Confections

Usher the new year as Starbucks showcase their latest additions to the Starbucks Espresso Confections line: the Strawberry Red Velvet Mocha and Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle. These decadent flavors are now available until February 22, 2016 to be served by your favorite friendly baristas in any Starbucks store near you.

 The Strawberry Red Velvet Mocha has a deliciously rich velvet sauce combined with mocha, steamed milk, and lovingly topped with cheesecake whipped cream, and lightly sprinkled with real strawberry bits.

The Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle is their signature espresso and steamed milk combined with a decadent white chocolate chestnut sauce and finished with whipped cream and chestnut drizzle.

Both are also available in Frappuccino blended beverage.

 The Lunar New Year celebration is fast approaching and Starbucks will be featuring a collection of roasted coffees such as the Guatemala Casi Cielo. It's a Latin American coffee with elegant flavor complexity, a unique floral aroma, lemon-like acidity and dark cocoa finish. Casi Cielo, which is Spanish for "almost heaven" comes from Antigua valley.

Add these new featured Starbucks cards to your collection! The Lunar New Year Card will be a perfect gift to celebrate a fun, exciting, and cheerful 2016 with your friends. The celebration is extending until Valentine's Day as they release the limited edition Valentine's Day Card. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf 2015 Holiday Launch

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf hopes to give flavorfully this season in ways that warm our soul as much as the body. I'm lucky enough to be invited to their Holiday Launch and a fun watercolor session last November 7, 2015 at their shop in SM Lanang Premier.

This year, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is offering several ways to share the holiday spirit with this season's favorites. They will serve two special holiday flavors in two variations - iced drink and warm latte. The Winter Dream Tea is a drink that has come to be anticipated by coffee lovers. It has rooibos and black tea blended with sweet spices and hints of vanilla. The newest addition is the Toffee Nut which has a buttery caramelized sugar with a hint of nut, paired with the richness of espresso and a sprinkle of toffee bits.

CBTL will also be releasing the new edition of The Giving Journal. I am a real fan of notebooks, planners, and the like (even though I don't want to write something on it, I just want to collect. We also had a fun watercolor session with Ms. April San Pedro during the launch. She taught us how to write letters using watercolor. It was not that easy yet it was really fun! Thanks Ms. April and Sir Joel Bagas from Fujifilm for the nice Instax shots.

BEANLEAF: Now in Davao

A new coffee and milk tea shop opened last August at The Peak of Gaisano Mall of Davao. Bean Leaf offers a variety of coffee and flavored milk teas that everyone will surely love. We were invited at the grand opening last August 15 and we tasted their delectable food and drinks.

To start the Grand Opening Ceremonies, a barista showed his skills in flairtending and Mr. BeanLeaf came out to dance for us. So cool and cute!

The cutting of the ribbon was facilitated by the BeanLeaf Master Franchisee for Davao Mr. Jim Sawers and BeanLeaf CEO Randy Salamat. It was also graced by Councilor Louie Bonguyan and Ms. Sweet representing Gaisano Mall.

NUTELLA OVERLOAD - I ordered this because the staff told me this is one of their best-sellers. It is very “chocolatey.”. It’s like I’m sipping Nutella and dark chocolate at the same time. Too sweet.

LEMON FRUIT TEA - I haven’t tried this one but my friend Claudine Chua said, “To tell you honestly, I loved it. I have been craving for it ever since.” (Photo credit: FashionVenom.com)

CITRUS MALUNGGAY FRUIT TEA - When my co-bloggers went to their food tasting event before the opening day, Clea Banal shared that this became their favorite saying, “ Our favourite was Citrus with Malunggay. It's refreshing and a must drink during summer. Doesn't taste Malunggay or Moringa at all! Perfect sinker would be Nata de Coco. It has green tea so it's healthy.” (Photo credit: CleaBanal.com)

We also tried their CAKES IN A JAR. It has three flavors - Black Forest, Salted Caramel, and Cookies and Cream. My favorites were the Black Forest and Salted Caramel.

Blugre Coffee launched 2 of their newest brands last December and I’m pretty sure you’ll love this! Since 1998, they’ve been serving home-grown hot and cold coffee blends, fruit juices, and delectable food. Now, they have something to spice up our coffee experience. We had a chance to witness the launching of Blugre Radio and Blugre Lifestyle last December 13, 2014 at their Matina Town Square branch.

Last 2011, I got really curious about this place. Nadadaanan ko kasi siya going to work. It has a different and cool ambience so it really caught my interest. So when it opened in May of the same year at Torres St., me and my twitter friends visited Green Coffee and boy, I was really surprised! 



I can still remember that I used to go there like everyday with my friends after dinner to end the night with a sip of their freeziccinos. Then, it became very popular and they received a lot of costumers until now. 


One of the main reasons why I love this place is because it has good interiors. It’s like you’re in an indoor garden. And guess what, they also have an air-conditioned garden! Say whuuuut???  :)


After a lot of visits, this would be the first AND NOT THE LAST review I’ll give to Green Coffee. Here’s what I ordered 2 weeks ago at their newest branch in Bajada.



Mango Freezziccino (P150)



Caramel Cinnamon Roll 


Infairness! Naubos ko talaga ang Cinnamon Roll. Because it really tastes good. It’s not really “cinnamony“ if that’s the term. Hahaha! And the nuts add crunch to it. The Mango Freeziccino was light and tastes fresh too!


My recent visit was last night after attending a friend’s birthday party. I went to their Torres branch with some friends and I ordered this.



Green Tea Fine Salt and Cheese (P170)


This is just HEAVEN! Para siyang ice cream! Hahaha! Still can’t get over it. It has cheese on top of a milk tea and you drink it without a straw! So expect that you’ll have a cheese moustache when you drink it. :)


Drinking coffee, milk tea, or green tea or whatever you like can never be this HEAVENly. Yeah I know, I’m still overwhelmed with the Green Tea FSC. Haha! Sorry powwww. 


Well, I will definitely come back if I have the time and money, of course! LOL! And I’ve been recommending this to my friends from Manila or Cebu or to anyone who wants a coffee fix.


For me, it’s a bit pricey compared to other coffee shops but it’s actually worth it. They serve pastries and pastas too which is good. But I heard pasta is not fit for coffee? Is it true? Anyway, their staff is so nice and accommodating. Some of their staff who were transferred from Torres St. to their SM Lanang branch still recognizes me! ISN’T IT AMAZING? The Torres branch gets too crowded minsan pag weekends, so you might wanna visit other branches too.


But overall, Green Coffee is still at the top of my list.
Why don’t you give them a visit today to find out what I’m saying.
