Christmas is finally here! SM Lanang Premier launched their Christmas event last November 8, 2014. Mall goers will really feel the Christmas spirit because of the grand lighting of the Xmas Tree @ the Atrium and the unveiling of the LEGO Christmas Village. I was really happy to be invited in this wonderful occasion.

I was so excited since it was my first cover for an event as a blogger. Thanks to Davao Bloggers Society for the opportunity. It was great!

Kiana Valenciano was the celebrity host of the show. I was surprised when she sang 3 different Christmas songs that lifted everyone’s hearts that afternoon. She revealed that it was her first hosting stint and she was really nervous.

Davao Girls’ Choir and Songspell Kids Choir also sang timeless Christmas songs to make the afternoon more spectacular.

How can you not love these human drummer boys?

The Xmas Tree is 57 feet high wrapped with different ornaments and Xmas lights. This is by far the tallest Xmas tree I’ve seen here in Davao.

They also unveiled the LEGO Christmas Village for kids and kids at heart. It’s a huge display of LEGO toys. Thanks to Toy Kingdom, LAJ Marketing Philippines and other sponsors.

(More photos of the LEGO XMAS VILLAGE in my other post here.)

Santa really came to town! As he gave gifts to the kids from San Antonio, Agdao and other beneficiaries with the help of City Social Services and Development Office.

Visit SM Lanang Premier with your kids every weekend of December for a meet and greet with the LEGO Santa. I’m sure your kids will be very happy to see him. Take pics to make it more memorable!

In celebration of the Halloween, SM Lanang brought us a cute and fluffy event to all dog lovers in Davao City. Me and my younger siblings went to The Dogs in Costume Parade last October 31, Friday held @ the Fountain Court. This was our first and I was really looking forward to it. There were a lot of participants… and dogs of course. They came in different shapes and sizes and it was a cloud 9 feeling seeing a lot of cute dogs around.

The city was invaded during the peak of Kadayawan Festival! Thanks to the wonderful minds of Spectrum Lifestyle Experience, we had fun in Kadayawan Invasion! This was one of the biggest and shall I say, the GRANDEST music festival to hit the city so far this year! I just can’t contain my happiness when I joined the team to make this party possible.

Davao was trending in social media for weeks because of this festival and… some unexpected moments that happened before and during the event. But hey! Can we all just party here???

The coolest thing about this party is that, it is more organized and secured. With all the bouncers, police, and accommodating event staff, you can just throw away your worries and dance with your friends all night! There are also wristbands for you to wear and they serve in different purposes. There’s a Fair Park for everyone who wants to cool down a bit and munch on sumptuous food. Freebies were given away from AyosDito to perk up the party! We also bought these cool neon and glow in the dark paints! Thirsty? Not to worry! They also have a lot of liquor stations! But of course, they were not served to minors. You can only buy alcoholic beverages if you have the black El Hombre wristband.

General Admission is at P350 and the VIP is at P2,000. For some, it was a bit pricy but they just don’t know the perks and freebies if you’ll buy VIP Tickets.

Anyway let’s go to the best guys who hyped the party, shall we? There were ACE RAMOS and NIX DAMN P, baby! Plus my favorite hype man MC PAOLO! And didn’t we tell you that there’s JULIO R too?! He’s too cute and he’s the youngest DJ to spin in the event! How cool was that?

Well, check my photos and tell me isn’t the stage stunning and impressive?

Of course, Team #BoryatNation was there too! There’s LanceOscar, and Yumi to party with me! They get perks too for helping me out in advertising this event.

Some guys took off their shirts and I’m glad no gal did the same! Hahaha! Everyone was there to party and enjoyed it with friends and loved ones. That was the main purpose of the event. To give an awesome experience using an awesome kind of music.

I’d like to thank my gals - Kaka BaltonadoBianca Garcia DizonTynne Reyes and to the dudes Janvie TiuPhilip Marco Dizon!

A bubble run for a cause! I love to go to these kinds of events. I actually miss running and I get fatter every time. When my friend Jad invited us to join this first ever fun run with foam machines, I never hesitated to join. But andami ko pa ring questions kasi napakamura ng registration fee (P150), tapos you don’t have a free singlet, and the most shocking part is you should “Bring your OWN HYDRATION”. Like, walang available water for runners in the event? When I learned that this is a run for a cause, that you can help send kids to school, I realized, yeah… they don’t need to spend money to produce singlets and other stuff. They will just give the money to charity.

You can choose the distance you want to run for the event. There’s 3K, 5K, and 8K. When they announced the trail, I immediately decided to run 5K. Why? Ang layo na ng 8K! Parang more than 10K na ata ang trail! Pramis! Hahaha!

So we ran under the cold and rainy weather. I had to keep my phone and earphones in my pockets para hindi mabasa. I was literally wet while running.

The good thing was, which I’m very proud to say that I ran 5K nang hindi humihinto sa pagtakbo. After a very long hiatus, I was able to run 5K na hindi masyadong napagod at hindi nag-“FUN WALK”. Hahaha!

When I reached the finish line, andami nang bubbles sa area and the organizers were shouting that we should run inside this big foam! Well, wala na akong nagawa. Since this is a Bubble Run, then GO!!! It was fun actually! :p

I also won a prize from Crocodile Park, which I gave to my parents. Anyway, it was indeed a fun run. And I’m so happy and proud to help the kids go to school. God Bless to all the organizers and sponsors of the event.
