Last 2011, I got really curious about this place. Nadadaanan ko kasi siya going to work. It has a different and cool ambience so it really caught my interest. So when it opened in May of the same year at Torres St., me and my twitter friends visited Green Coffee and boy, I was really surprised!

I can still remember that I used to go there like everyday with my friends after dinner to end the night with a sip of their freeziccinos. Then, it became very popular and they received a lot of costumers until now.

One of the main reasons why I love this place is because it has good interiors. It’s like you’re in an indoor garden. And guess what, they also have an air-conditioned garden! Say whuuuut???  :)

After a lot of visits, this would be the first AND NOT THE LAST review I’ll give to Green Coffee. Here’s what I ordered 2 weeks ago at their newest branch in Bajada.

Mango Freezziccino (P150)

Caramel Cinnamon Roll

InfairnessNaubos ko talaga ang Cinnamon Roll. Because it really tastes good. It’s not really “cinnamony“ if that’s the term. Hahaha! And the nuts add crunch to it. The Mango Freeziccino was light and tastes fresh too!

My recent visit was last night after attending a friend’s birthday party. I went to their Torres branch with some friends and I ordered this.

Green Tea Fine Salt and Cheese (P170)

This is just HEAVEN! Para siyang ice cream! Hahaha! Still can’t get over it. It has cheese on top of a milk tea and you drink it without a straw! So expect that you’ll have a cheese moustache when you drink it. :)

Drinking coffee, milk tea, or green tea or whatever you like can never be this HEAVENly. Yeah I know, I’m still overwhelmed with the Green Tea FSC. Haha! Sorry powwww.

Well, I will definitely come back if I have the time and money, of course! LOL! And I’ve been recommending this to my friends from Manila or Cebu or to anyone who wants a coffee fix.

For me, it’s a bit pricey compared to other coffee shops but it’s actually worth it. They serve pastries and pastas too which is good. But I heard pasta is not fit for coffee? Is it true? Anyway, their staff is so nice and accommodating. Some of their staff who were transferred from Torres St. to their SM Lanang branch still recognizes me! ISN’T IT AMAZING? The Torres branch gets too crowded minsan pag weekends, so you might wanna visit other branches too.

But overall, Green Coffee is still at the top of my list.
Why don’t you give them a visit today to find out what I’m saying.

RATING: 8 CUPS out of 10

I love the lights. I love the streets.
I used my iPhone 4S in taking this photo with the “Slow Shutter” App.

It has 3 different types of shots. You can choose motion blur, low light, and light trail. In this shot, I used Light Trail. I tried to adjust the light sensitivity and capture duration to get that almost perfect shot. Unfortunately, I don’t have a tripod so it took me some time to get a clear shot. I tried standing up, sitting down, bending, and even STOPPED BREATHING! I also found wires from the billboards at the overpass to somehow bend it and form it like a tripod. Hahaha!

It’s a good thing that there’s no street vendor or “mysterious” people around the area but still I was very cautious at that time.

Well, all I need to do is to get a good tripod and try again! You also have to consider the weather and of course, the location. More practice for me!

Go to the Apple Store now and install the “Slow Shutter” app!

The city was invaded during the peak of Kadayawan Festival! Thanks to the wonderful minds of Spectrum Lifestyle Experience, we had fun in Kadayawan Invasion! This was one of the biggest and shall I say, the GRANDEST music festival to hit the city so far this year! I just can’t contain my happiness when I joined the team to make this party possible.

Davao was trending in social media for weeks because of this festival and… some unexpected moments that happened before and during the event. But hey! Can we all just party here???

The coolest thing about this party is that, it is more organized and secured. With all the bouncers, police, and accommodating event staff, you can just throw away your worries and dance with your friends all night! There are also wristbands for you to wear and they serve in different purposes. There’s a Fair Park for everyone who wants to cool down a bit and munch on sumptuous food. Freebies were given away from AyosDito to perk up the party! We also bought these cool neon and glow in the dark paints! Thirsty? Not to worry! They also have a lot of liquor stations! But of course, they were not served to minors. You can only buy alcoholic beverages if you have the black El Hombre wristband.

General Admission is at P350 and the VIP is at P2,000. For some, it was a bit pricy but they just don’t know the perks and freebies if you’ll buy VIP Tickets.

Anyway let’s go to the best guys who hyped the party, shall we? There were ACE RAMOS and NIX DAMN P, baby! Plus my favorite hype man MC PAOLO! And didn’t we tell you that there’s JULIO R too?! He’s too cute and he’s the youngest DJ to spin in the event! How cool was that?

Well, check my photos and tell me isn’t the stage stunning and impressive?

Of course, Team #BoryatNation was there too! There’s LanceOscar, and Yumi to party with me! They get perks too for helping me out in advertising this event.

Some guys took off their shirts and I’m glad no gal did the same! Hahaha! Everyone was there to party and enjoyed it with friends and loved ones. That was the main purpose of the event. To give an awesome experience using an awesome kind of music.

I’d like to thank my gals - Kaka BaltonadoBianca Garcia DizonTynne Reyes and to the dudes Janvie TiuPhilip Marco Dizon!
